Mesh installation

Hi Justin,

I have received the North America Base Terrain and World Buffer Terrain CDs.  Is there a specific order in which these CDs should be installed?  Additionally, I realize that airport plateaus will occur due to the accuracy of the terrain mesh....should not be an issue for me.  However, is it possible to "layer in" the mesh installation so you can review the plateau effect at increasing LOD levels to determine whether you wish to proceed to a more detailed LOD?

BTW have the Hawaii landclass and mesh, WOW what a great product....can't stop flying around the islands!

Hi,

Install order doesn't matter.  Whatever keeps you organized.

You can adjust your Mesh Resolution slider under Display Options.

TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX setting should be changed to at least 20
