Galaxy lifetime membership and download questions

Good morning,

 I am a brand new lifetime membership subscriber, and being new to FSGenesis, I have a few questions for you:

1)  when I go into my download page, and click on "FSX Downloads", I am missing Western Europe. I do not see Croatia, Italy, Spain, Greece, Germany, Belgium, UK, etc...all of Western Europe, as if the European Next Map is not there.

2)  I noticed, for the US, there is USA terrain mesh and US National Landclass Project. What is the difference between the two? Should I download both?

3) The last download that I see available  in the list is:" World Terrain Mesh for FSX". What does it exactly do? Do I have to download this as well, besides all the other ones in the list?

3) When a new area is added to the FSGenesis list, how do I know about it? Do I have to check back regularly on my download page, and see what's new to be downloaded?

Please help, as I am new to your FSGenesis products. Looking forward to your answers, regards

Just so it is clear, this is what i did:

clicked on Account >> My Downloads >> GalaxyXPress >> FSX Downloads.

Hi Enrico

1) As stated on the NEXTMap pages and on the GalaxyPlus page, products derived from commercial data source by contract can not be given away, so I have made a low-cost bundle for Galaxy members that you should find on the same menu.  By applying any points you might have, and any coupon discounts at checkout, the cost becomes neglible.

2) Yes, get both.  The terrain mesh is the shape of the ground, the landclass is the texture-types on that shape, whether urban, suburban, forest, field, etc.

3) The World Terrain Mesh upgrades the terrain to 76m all over the world below 60dN.  For best results, download and install.  If you ticked a checkbox at checkout to send the FSX Media Collection, it will be in the mail soon, so your option to download now or wait for DVDs.  I usually now ship once a week on Mondays, unless here are many media orders during the week.

4) Unless you opted out at checkout, you were subscribed to the FSG Notifications mailing list.  All new releases and updates are announced through that list.  Additionally, there are links to the FSG presence on facebook and twitter too back on the storefront.

Hi Justin, and many thanks for your prompt support!!

I just ordered and have available as download Nextmap Europe. One more question: FSGenesis is about terrain mesh, if I am not mistaken. Can I now add to my fsx

1) A ground textures product, like GEX or FSCENE, fo textures?

2) A landclass product, like Scenery Tech, or Cloud9, to blend it with FSGenesis?

3) UTX, for urban and street landclass?

I take it I can do that, but I want to hear from you, before I make any mistakes with my FSX. Again, thanks for the very good support, very happy to be an FSGenesis customer  ;)

2) Well, no.  Those are either/or, with the exception below.
3) Yes, using the "sandwich" procedure found either in the UTX instructions, or at www.simforums.com
