Hi Justin,
<Are they floating when you go there using "Go to Airport"? >

Yes

< Did you install over your previous files (overwrite)>

Yes

<or did you install to another location than V1 files were?>

No

The problem corrects itself when FSGdem0201_us_008007 version 2 is replaced with FSGdem0201_us_008007 version 1

HI Lee,

Search your Scenery Library locations for another copy of FSGdem0201_us_008007 version 1.

No Floating buildings here, but I see I'm going to have to extend the null another klick or so to the east of Billings next update.

Hi Justin,
Found the culprit! Wasn't an extra 210 version file, but a forgotten mesh file sitting the scenery folder of the add-on scenery folder.

Thanks for the help,

Lee :)

Good.  But now that you brought up Billings, I'm going to have to do some manual work on that one.  As far as I can tell from 3D Live Earth, Billings is one airport that really does sit on a plateau, so "fixing" it, has actually borked it.

Hey Lee,

I tried Billings Logan with the new V2 and no floating buildings. Everything looks good here.

Hi Justin,
<Billings is one airport that really does sit on a plateau, so "fixing" it, <has actually borked it.

Agree it looks kind of ugly, and any "magic" you can perform to massage it into shape will be greatly appreciated.

Off the top of my head, other actual "plateau airports " that may require similar treatment are KSEZ Sedona AZ, KABQ Albuquerque NM, KCRQ Carlsbad CA, KHIF Hill AFB UT, KSGU St George UT, KTEX Telluride CO, KASE Aspen CO, KAVX Avalon CA, KMSP Minneapolis-St Paul MN, and KCRW Charleston WV

Many thanks,

Lee

It would be great if you can fix KBIL.  The airport does sit 3 or 4 hundred feet above the city, but the looks rendered now are not anywhere close to real.  There are cliffs in places where there are none in real life.
