Hi Justin
« on: November 06, 2009, 03:46:42 PM »
,
Re my order 38350, 5/9/2008. (Canada/Mexico & World will ship when completed.)
Please can you advice on the status of this.? I have tried to download the V2 Hawaii Files last night, but I never seem to have much luck with
downloads, finished up with houses floating. I was confused by the following....
INSTALLATION

Extract the contents of this zip file to

   [FSX]

using the "Use folder names" setting of WinZip or equivalent
settings of other similar utilities, where [FSX] is the actual location on your
hard drive of the FSX root folder.  The destination of the files will be:

   [FSX]\scenery\0003\scenery

Do I copy and paste the file including the folder, or open the folder and copy/paste the contents into [FSX]\scenery\0003\scenery.?....This is why I prefer to pop in a disk.  ::)

Hi Toriu,

Mexico V2 is completed, AK V2 should be completed early December.  Both will ship at that time.  Canada V2 is a ways off, as well as World V2.  You may download the available files by logging in a clicking My FSX Downloads.

In Winzip, open the downloaded file, click Extract, and browse to your main FSX folder.  This will put the files where they belong if you enable the Use Folder Names option.

Hope this helps
