New UTX/Alaska compatability
« on: February 08, 2010, 02:01:35 PM »
The recently released UTX/Alaska is already revealing the usual airport elevation problems.  One topic in the 'Simforums' covered the Anchorage small airport, AK12, showing up in a deep hole.  The gist of the fix was using some "supplemental AK12 files Justin included with his release".  Since mine is V1.1 (38.2 m), I suspect I don't have these - can't find them - so is V2 a significant improvement over V1.1 and should I have it?

Yes, and yes.  If you log into your FSG Store account anda click My FSX Downloads, then Alaska-Hawaii link, you'll find a V2 progress build to download that isn't included on the V1 disks.  Might also make sure you're subscribed to the FSG nbotification email list so you can stay informed about updates and such.

Thanks
