Hawaii FSG 9.6mtr
« on: February 15, 2010, 11:45:24 PM »
Hi Guys,

Here are a few screen shots of Hawaii using FSG 9.6mtr mesh, World Buffer Mesh and WH 153 mtr mesh.

Ignore the plane as that is irrelevant to these shots.  The detail and depth of the Hawaii scenery using the mesh's mentioned is amazing and even better as flown over.

The shots were taken at 240 KIAS (ave) and an Alt of 5000' ASL.

Regardless of how good (or bad) your system is, you would have to agree that the scenery here is "far" superior to the default.

If you don't have the Hawaii 9.6mtr mesh and fly there, do yourself a favor and get it - it really is brilliant!

Cheers,

Wombat

I must be doing something wrong.  I downloaded/installed this mesh/landclass and it looks pretty much like the default scenery.  The only thing I noticed different was the shore lines.  Is this a screen shot from FSX?

Hi Kelly,

I have been away for awhile and this is the first time I have had a chance to log in here.

To answer your question, NO it is FS9 (2004)

Cheers,

Wombat

Even if the post is cold and outdated there was a remaining open question about Hawaii in FSX that I want to answer with even outdated pictures  :D.
Here you are (who ever still might have interest).
