Uninstall AKDEM V.2.0 Beta only before updating

Hi Justin - quick question.  I installed AKDEM V1.1.0 from my purchased CD and then updated with V2.0 Beta from "My FSX Downloads".  So do I only uninstall the V2 Beta and then update to V2_AKDEM-X_PB100219.exe?  And will only uninstalling the most recently installed V2 files before applying future updates be the proper procedure (seems to make sense that the V1.1 files should not be touched)?  Thanks.  Ron

I uninstalled all the previous AKDEM's through the windows add -remove.
The new update contains everthing and puts it in your addon scenery directory.
Everything seems to look good to me.

Thanks ST - I'll uninstall both V1 and V2 and install V2_AKDEM-X_PB100219.exe.

HI Ron,

Yes, Smashing Time has it right.  You shouldn't have to uninstall anything for future updates, just overwrite.  Uninstalling the previous files just seemed like the easiest way to deal with the new folder structure.
