Scenary.CFG error

G'day,

I just downloaded the new Alaska/Hawaii mesh in preparation for the Alaska airport adjustment pack and after downloading and installing the mesh and the Hawaii airport adjustment pack, I got these two messages when I started FSX;

What happened and what do I do?  Thanks for your consideration.

Hi

Since The Alaska-Hawaii installer didn't automatically add the Scenery Library entry (you did it manually), the uninstaller doesn't automatically remove the Scenery Library entries (you have to do it manually).  Go to Scenery Library and delete those entries for the old Alaska and Hawaii.

Since you installed Alaska-Hawaii Base Terrain, then added the Scenery Library entries manually, the proper uninstall procedure would be to to first remove the Scenery Library entries, then uninstall your previous verison of Alaska-Hawaii.  This will prevent the scenery.cfg errors.

Thanks for your swift reply.  Yes, that may be it.  I didn't think to delete the library entrys before uninstalling.  I'll start over.  Will report back.

Of course that worked a treat, thanks.  I no longer have the FSGAlaska, FSGHawaii entrys in the scenery library; I assume this is normal.  I have the Hawaii airport adjustments just below my TongassX entrys. 

Could you tell me when the Alaska airports might be released?

Hi Fritz,

I am alternating production days between Alaska ATAP and new products.  There should be weekly progress updates until AK is completed.  One thing that would speed up the work is if end-users would report the plateaus.  A good portion of pre-production time is spent in searching out the problem airports.  If I didn't have to do this I could devote more production time to actually fixing the issues, rather than finding them.
