FSX & config files

Hi- I have FS9.1 running on my system along with FSG mesh.  The installation's instructions called for the modification of the fs9.cfg file such that terrain max vertex level be changed to 21.  I was simply wondering if a similar modification needs to be made when I install FSG's mesh for FSX.  I will be installing FSX on my system next week (yaayy!  :)  ).  Thanks a bunch!
