This pertains to Windows Vista home Premium.
I have a folder in the FSX directory called "Addon Scenery Addon Scenery Addon Scenery" and within that I have a Scenery folder and there I have a file called "fsglcx_us.bgl".. I assume that is the landclass file. My question is, is FSX seeing this with the weird top folder name?
Also, what is the default directory(s) for the Mesh auto installation?
Does it all go into one folder or are those the folders that are named 101, 102, 103, 203.. etc.?
The reason I ask is because I deleted my FSX.cfg file to test something (after backing up of course) and didnt' know if the Mesh was being seen after the cfg file was recreated. Is there a way to tell? No offense but I'm assuming it wasn't because my airports were no longer on plateaus. So, if I have to delete the cfg file, how do I re-point back to the FSG Mesh?
Thanks
